Diagnostic Questions

Hi,

I have searched, however, I am unable to find any information.

The vehicle is a '96 Toyota Camry with a 5SFE.

I am following the same procedure that I do with my '91 MR2; engine is warm; key on the "acc" position.

I am shorting TE1 and E1, but the CEL refuses to flash anything. Am I shorting the correct terminals?

Thank,
Doug

Doug, 1996 is the 1st year for OBD2 on that engine, so you can;t jump the connection. You need the reader for it. The connector is behind the change tray (bottom left of steering wheel).
