3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
So, I'm considering grabbing a pair of these fog lights in the link below. I am also gonna see about adding a HID conversion kit (H3) to these as well to match my headlights, but I cant decide on something and was hoping to get some opinions.
If you read through, it gives the option for free Halo rings to be installed. Yay or nay on the halos? Think it would look cheesy??

Haha...lol...you don't like the fog lights by themselves either??
I've seen those alero lights in the corners, but not too sure about the look...I guess if they're cheap enough at the Pick-A-Part, I can try them out.

since you have a gen3 i think you should do the alero fogs, they fit even easier in the gen3 bumper then the gen3.5 and you can do the HID conversion to them as well, and they will look like they are supposed to be there and came with the car. these are the only foglights that look good on the gen3 in my opinion.
i had them on my car before sellin it to eyeball96:
Ah, damn you eyeball96 haha. I got here a little too late

Hey bigbird, I have been meaning to ask you a couple things regarding those fogs. Namely:
- How much they cost you?
- How did you wire them up?
- For the HID conversion, did you just buy a HID kit and install that?
- If so, did any components need upgrading?
Also, to anyone else who has wired foglights on the gen 3 - gen 3.5;
- How did you wire 'em up?
Sorry if this stuff seems easy Just a few questions though.
Yes I have used the search bar to look the wiring up and I've read here numerous ways to do so, but have yet to decide on which way to do it (and yet to go to the junkyard to pick a pair up of the fogs )

I like what you got right now, just get the HID kit and you'll be set.
Well, I got a HID kit in the depo's, but I was wanting to put them in fogs as well.

"Mazeraski" - So, the item has ended...what did you decide?
Off topic, uibalnme, I like the grille mod with the mesh. How'd you go about doing it?
Its ended, but they are on there all the time, but ya...I think you guys are right. I think i'm gonna try the alero fogs w/HID kit.
