92 Camry LE passenger window will not go down, but will go up!!!

I have a 4 door 1992 Camry LE withe power windows and locks which just hit 241000 miles. i just started having issues with the passenger window where it would not roll down intermittently. Now it just won't roll down.

I have dissassembled the switch and cleaned the contacts (which did not help), swapped out the master switch on the drivers side with a known good one (which also did not work).

The one critical check I completed was for voltage. I have 12VDC passing when trying to roll the window up, but ~2VDC when trying to roll the window down. I know the motor works in both directions because I can swap the wires and get it to go down, but not up.

Any ideas?

Probably a broken wire where it passes from the door to the frame. Usually on the driver side because it opens & closes more often. It is probably not something that you can see. The filaments brake inside the insulation. While holding the switch down, try opening and closing the doors and see if you get a brief response. If you do, that is the door that the wire is broken in. Doesn't always work but when it does it is pretty definite.
