4th Generation HID help...

My friend is getting rid of his HID's and giving them to me. They are for a 9006 bulb and I know my bulb is H4/9003.

The question is, is there a way to convert my wiring to fit the 9006 bulb attachment?

in short, yes.

BUT you will need to wire up high beams separately which might be a bitch to do. in that case, you might want to convert to the 2000-2001 headlights.

But since they are HIDs, I don't think I'll need the high beams. So I was just gonna not connect the high beam wire. Do you think that'll work?

you will definalty want the high beams, hids are bright enough to make up for that in the gen4 housing. either do the gen4.5 front end or sell the kit and use the money to buy a new one that will fit. who knows, someone may have one for sale soon .

Here's an update: Went to Autozone today to get 9006 connectors, then went home to fit the connectors. Got everything done, plugged in the lights and they worked. However, the part that holds the light in place is much bigger on the H4's. So needless to say, I have to buy my own HIDs.
