3rd Generation gen 3 grill question

Hey everyone

I have a gen 3 - 93 camry grille question.

i' wanted a mesh grill that's oh so common now..

so i took it out and cut out the inside part and all sanded it down and all that .. following the instructions on this forum at the top..

but now.. I CANT FIND THE MESH ANYWHERE!

went to home depot and Rona but they dont have any.

any idea where I can get the mesh?

thanks for your help.

Home Depot - Gutter Guard

you wont find finer mesh easily, so i just settled for that ... it came in a curved piece, but once you attach it, it will lay flat

3rd Generation

hey
thanks for the reply

i picked it up, along with bondo and spray paint and some more sand paper

but this looks REALLY flimsy.. i'm afraid it'll come off
also, how'd you attach it to the frame?

i picked up some small screws with washer and nuts to hold it in place but not sure if that's a good idea.. or if there's a better idea..

also, i want to attach an emblem to this grill, i dont think it'll work..

help..

i epoxied around the entire edge to attach it to the grille ... its barely attached and i havent had any problems with it all year, so you should be fine

some people drill small holes and use zip ties (trim them after they are on, of course)

you could lightly bondo or epoxy the emblem to the gutter guard in the center, but i would recommend just leaving it off

The grill itself is chromed. The mesh is galvanized aluminum.
