Engine is about 4 hours from coming out

took the wiring harness off, removed the radiator, airbox, battery, powersteering, ac condensor, etc, etc...still need to remove the drive axles, and ONE electrical connector under the intake manifold...other than that, it's ready to come out.

I'll take a picture before it comes out....once out, the trannie will be replaced. If anyone has any advice, I'm all ears!

yes...do not disconnect the power steering or a/c lines- just dismount the p/s pump and a/c compressor and hang them off to the side

If you are relying on an on-line manual, take the time to down load it to your hard drive. Toyota has a tendancy to force the sites to pull them off the WEB and then you would be SOS.

Before you put in the replacements clean your engine compartment. You won't get a chance like this for a long time.
