but help me, please...ive looked thru enought of the gen3/gen.5 comparisn threds on this site an others, and im convinced that, meachanically, thy are the same car...
i go to the junkyard today to pick up some WINDOW MOTORS off of a 93..mind you, i drive (2) 96's...i was gettin some bullshit from the junker sayn that the window mtors wont fit because its differenet years and wahtnot..now, i didnt pick up the window motors, cuz i thought id check wih my TN elders...
so tell me, front passenger and both rear window motors....diff or same between gen3 and gen3.5?

Can;t get a confirm on rears, but the regulators in the rear are the same, so, so should the motor's.

That's really weird the junk yard wouldn't sell you them. Typically they don't care, then if it's the wrong part, they won't let you return it. I guess the guy is trying to hook you up....but he's wrong in this case.
Also if I may offer some friendly advice.........maybe the guy ****-blocking you was actually a good sign. I personally think you should buy new units anyway. I had my DS window regulator go out on me a few years back. I researched used, new OEM, and new aftermarket. I bought a new aftermarket one from Ebay at a considerable savings, and it has worked flawlessly. It's made in China, but odds are it will outlast a used part that's approaching 15 years old.
