97 Camry LE New spark plugs?

Hi, I have a 1997 Toyota Camry LE with about 96,000KMS and haven't changed the spark plugs or wires since the car was purchased brand new. The car starts fine and everything but it takes a few seconds longer to start compared to my brothers newer vehicle. Is this a necessary tune up for me? And if so how much is it around to get the job done with new plugs, wires and distributor cap tune up at the local Canada Toyota? Thanks for any help!

You don't have a distributor. You need 4 plugs and a wire set. The plugs are about US$6-7ea and the wire set should be less than $50 for regular wires and takes about 1 hours to do.

You want either Denso or NGK plugs. The Denso part number is PK20TR11 but I don't know the one from NGK. The wire set from NGK I think is part number TE58. Sad how I know this off the top of my head.

The plugs have two ground electrodes to the side of the center electrode.
