3rd Generation 2.2 idle surging

Hey all, I need some help. My 92 2.2 camry has a surging idle as soon as it starts up whether hot or cold and does not stop at all. It started as a high idle and now it started reving from 1200 to 2500 at frequency of maybe 40 Hz. when the car is in gear it idles around 1100 and will surge while traveling around 30. Any ideas or similiar problems?? thank you all for taking a look

How long has it been since you cleaned the throttle body? There are several sensors that might cause this but I think my first step would be to clean the throtle body. If it is dirty then you may want to go ahead and clean the IAC valve and the EGR system. Let us know if this helps or not.

OK those seem easy enough as per the other posts in the forum. Most people inferred that a hestitant idle would be caused by the dirty TB but its worth shot. Thanks guys and to anyone else with a response!
