3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Ok so here it goes. I need someone with a Gen 4 to help another camry owner out. I have quite a few mods on my car and one of my major problems is that when I did my ES300 front end conversion no grills will work. The ES is part of the hood. I was thinking about doing a gen 4 grill and making my front end go like yours does by the headlights. One of my concerns though is that it will be too big. If anyone is willing and I really hope someone will help me out and just let me know the dimensions of your grill. Also I am looking for the measurements of your mirrors so that I can figure out if I can get some M3 mirrors for your car since I know the mirrors are similar, but need to know if they are close in size too, I know they are in shape. So if anyone has a gen4 camry a tape measure and are willing to help me out I would really really appreciate it.
One_to_hate is right, that is my site on cardomain. I guess I was a little unclear in my post. I didn't do a whole front end conversion just the lights. I modified the fenders and am working on the hood and grill. I wanna make the grill more like the gen4 camry where its attached to the bumper not the hood, which is why I am wanting the dimensions to see if it would be too big or not. Im gonna glass more onto the bumpers in order to attach the grill.
Well have had two people say that they would get these for me and both fell through. We are starting to get some decent weather lately and would like to take some time away from working on my GS300 and put some work on the camry so I can get it painted sometime this year. So can someone please help!!!!!!!!!
