USA 93 swap 3VZ for 1MZ

well i have a 93 LE with around 193,000 miles on it. right now i have the 3VZ-FE. i am graduating high school soon and i am expecting a lot of money coming my way. So i want to swap it out for a 1MZ-FE. ive heard good things about the 1MZ and i want to make my cam quicker. thanks

NOOOO!!! Waste of money if you was thinking of an engine swap into your car than the 3sgte should be it but I rather stick with the V6.

Also read up on the 3vz-fe's buddy there better motors for making power (turbocharging ftw) compared to the 1mz-fe's.

rebuilding is a good ideo since your turbo charging it. You shoud get better pistons, piston rings, and maybe go for copper head gasket. As for turbo you're gonna have to fabricate one

Just stick with the 3VZ... there is a lot of things you can do to 'tweak' the engine... just do a search on the Toysrme FreeModSeries. Good Luck with the turbo build-up!

In the future if you really serious about rebuilding it than just buy the jdm 3vz-fe and rebuild that so you can still have access to your car!!!

asg14 and i have found that the intake plenum for the 3vz and 1mz are the same and you should be able to bolt on the s/c from the 1mz on there. look into it you'd be the first!!!
