Cool

Have you tried car-part.com? You can search for a solara/camry/es300 E153 transmission and all the other parts that you may need. It's worked well for me, at least.

Are these a direct bolt up swap? Any modification needed? And what is the model of this tranny?

Thanks!

e153 is the code...it didnt change between the MR2, gen3 or gen4 camry. but its not a direct swap. there are some modifications but just in terms of parts needed. mounts, ecu, tranny bits manual bits and differnent axels then the auto tranny.

oughta put a r151f tranny in there...

4wd truck5 speed manual transmission with chain driven transfer case... :P
though it does bolt to the VZ engine family. most notably the 3vze and the 5vzfe (Pickup and Tacoma respectively)

but seriously, car-part.com is a great site. you can find everything and anything.
if you find what appears to be a legit price close to you, call, they may have everything you need.

well, in my sick, twisted mind, I fantasize about taking a camry or corolla and basically welding on a 4wd suspension underneath, and making it a off roading whore hahaha
