4 cyle or 6 cyl? looks like the plug is coming off of the oil pressure switch...is your oil light on on the dash?

actually no my oil light is not on and its not my oil switch plug. I don't really know what it is, its just wrapped up like its not being used or something. Its right next to the oil plug tho

could be an oil temp switch/sensor..do you have an oil temp guage on the dash?

Nope no oil temp gauges here. I'm thinking its for an e-fan thermo switch, but it can't be I have hydraulic power fan
