I have a Gen 4 for camry and i want to install my underglow when i jacked the car up all i found for mounting points where solid metal and would not screw in even with a metal tapping screw...

Any ideas before i epoxy it up there

i am trying to place it in a spot where it cannot be seen from the outside i was going to mount in nect to the rocker near the framerail

just find a flat spot and a good point and get self tapping screws and drill into the frame directly. id spray a coating of undercar paint over teh screws and the area you drilled in to prevent rust.

use a small drill bit as a pilot hole and then use the self tappers.

i used rivits on mine.

just another way you can go.

just mount it on the lip between the spots for the jack. drill some small holes where u want the screws to go and go from there u can mount it on the other side so no one sees it. thats how i did mine at it looks great.
