Hood won't open

I went to check the fluids in my girlfriend's camry and the hood release from inside won't pop the hood. I crawled underneath but couldn't reach the cable. My arm was too big to fit between the tranny intercooler and the radiator. This happened to me on chevy s10 and I was able to remove the grille and get at the release. This toyo is a much different story. Any help in getting this hood popped would be great! If I can get the thing open I know I can fix it or replace it. I would hate to have to take it into a shop for this problem.

Have some pull the release, and u lift the hood...that should do it...probably just needs adjusting at the latch mechanism.
