LED Bulbs

This is a quick question. I got some color LED bulbs so that I can install the clear OEM tail lights I have purchased. I started by installing the stop/brake light. It lit when I turned on the parking lights, but the lights didnt get any brighter when I pressed on the brake pedal, and the brake light out idiot light lit as well. I also tryed to see if that turn signal bulbs would work. I got them to light but the it flashed at the accelerated rate as if a bulb was burned out. Is there some mod for the electrical system that I need?

Bulb Types purchased for application:
Brake/tail lights: Red 1157
Turn Signal : Amber 1156
Rear Side Marker : 168 (still in transit)

Try flipping around the 1157 or maybe you got a single filament bulb

as for the turn signal, you'll need something like this : http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...id/0/SFV/32481

Looked at the bulb again saw that it had an offset to prevent the bulb from going in incorrectly for the tail light. I can only assume that the bulb is bad, or a resistor is need for that. Thanks El Tano
