Question probable exhaust gas leak after a/f sensor replaced

Hi Gurus,
Recently I replaced front a/f sensor on my 2000 Camry v6 (california). The good thing is - it eliminated 5 DTCs (for interested folks: P0125, P0171, P1150, P1153, P1155) . The bad (not sure) is I smell something near new o2 sensor every time I drive the car for a while. Not sure if it is WD-40 burning, which I had used to unscrew old sensor. How do I figure out if it is WD40 or exhaust gas? And if it is later - how do I go about fixing this (hope I dint damage the exhaust manifold thread while replacing the sensor).

PS: folks on craigslist mentioned that its probably NOT wd-40 or anti-seize compound; its probably a leak; I am going to warm up the car (to warm up the manifold) and then tighten the sensor if I can ..or may be reinstall (check the thread)...

any opinions?

it's very hard to suggest an option at this point until you can pinpoint the exact location of the leak...the chances of it leaking from the a/f sensor though, isn't very high....

to pinpoint the leak, you can try using seafoam. the white smoke will then let you know where any leaks may be
