battery/headlight issue

I haven't started yet but just wanted to know for when I do... do it.. it will be a breeze.

in a 1mz engine the battery sits right behind the driver side headlight. I was wondering how do you guys in Gen 4 manage to take out the headlight with that battery blocking its way? I don't think it could be an easy slip out from the front is it?

When I've removed/installed my driver-side headlight I always go through the front. You pretty much have to, because the headlight actually keys into the corner light, so you have to remove the corner light as well when you remove the headlight.

will it just slip right out? or would I have to remove the front bumper too? I really don't want to take off the front bumper if its possible..

My front bumper/bumper cover had to be replaced from a minor accident, and were trimmed accordingly. On my Camry, the headlights just need to be angled upwards a bit, and they pretty much slide out after the corner markers and wiring are removed.

they just pop out the front, no need to move the battery. remove the corner light and then the headlights unscrew.

sweet thanks for the info. Definately will have to attempt this Sat... hopefully first try will be a charm. So nervous at the moment cuz I never did such big mod on my camry before haha
