D2 Coilovers
Hi you all,
I want to buy this week d2/k-sport coilovers i have a doubt.
I just want stiffer and comfortabel suspention, but not rock hard.
Are the d2/k-sport coilovers(softest mode) a good options for me?

probably not. none of the coilover setups are a good option at the factory setting
but if you order custom spring rates such as....4/3, it'll be more similar to eibach springs and the like

I don't understand what you mean?
When i put the the coilovers in the softest mode it is to stiff?
But it is possible to order the d2 with a diffrent sprint rate? (i can't adjust the sprint rate myself?)
Thanks again

^ yeah, the ride is still extremely stiff on the softest setting compared to struts and springs.

My suspention is worn out, so i have to replace every thing.
In the new setup i want two things:
-A stiffer ride then the stock.
-I want to be able to adjust the height. (speedbumps)
I think my only option is to buy an airride system or coilovers.
Airride:
-adjust the heigh the whole time
-very expensive
-Not safe voor daily driving
Coilover
-affordable
-hard to adjust the heigh...
-good daily drive
So i thought the best option is to buy coilovers.
But now i understand the are to stiff and it will not help to buy them with a lower springrate ?

a lower spring rate would help, but then the handling would probably not be as great. Its all a system of tradeoffs, you just have to decide which things you want most and what you can live without.

if you need ride comfort, coilovers are not for you ... dont even think about it, because you will be disappointed

Even worse is that the company won't allow it to go to low with spring rates!!!

1.5 inch is the max. i want to go, because there are so many speed bumps here.
Intrax springs with KYB is the next option i think about.
How mutch stiffer are the d2/K-sports?
(I don't go on a circuit but i want it just as firm like a Audi/BMW. )

if youre not going to drop it lower than 1.5", just get springs .... no reason to get coils
