Hello

New member with a 99 camry, 4 cyl/manual. I have driven it about 60000km since I took it over from my dad, including a toronto to whistler and back trip last summer. The car now has 382 000km on it, and has been in the family since 50K.

Time for some new tires, and I am quite sick of the american racing rims that came with it when my dad bought it from the first owner. I noticed a set of 17 inch rims for sale on this forum off of an 07. Will there be any issues fitting these on my car? Thanks, and sorry for the noob question...

whats the offset of the wheels in question? come with tires?

I saw some 3rd gens with them on this site

they should pretty much be perfect with them offset-wise, but technically speaking the tires are a little bit bigger- but not a huge difference at all though

as for 3rd gens with them? haven't seen any yet...I think you'll be one of the first. Several have avalon rims, which are kinda similar and in 16s

I am just afraid that they will jack my car up too much, and I am not really willing to get into suspension mods on a car with this many clicks

and wow...they do fill the wheel wells quite well with the extra bit of profile...
