The red wire is one the two that goes to the door light and the pink wire is one of the two that goes to the speaker. Soldered them together and wrapped them up good. Work good now. Didnt think it was going to be that easy. I also didnt think that the whole harness would come out that easy!

Good stuff man. I learned everything about the door when i changed mine, very easy to service stuff. Feels good fixing stuff, that happened to my trunk brake lights and i had to do the same, dunno how they broke though...

hi, in a previous post i was asking questions about possible reasons my dome/ radio fuse under the hood keeps shorting out. and a person said there are lots of wires in the door that could cause it. are any of those wires in that harness?

No...I dont think wires for those run in the door...there would be no reason for them to.

On the other hand...it may be the door switch that could cause the short and cause the fuse to blow. There is a DIY posted on how to fix/clean it in the Gen3/4 section. Worth a shot I guess? I need to do all 4 on my LE. All seem to work on the XLE.
