Alright I have done a million searches on this and cannot find any information . I have been talking to a guy at Import Replacement Parts about a set of KYB GR-2's and I had asked him if they carried Tein S-Techs for my 2000 4 cyl. as well, he sent me a link with the applications which only list the 6 cyl. I am almost positive that they will fit either the 6 cyl. or 4 cyl. but that the drop in the front will not be as low as the springs state due to the 4 cyl. being lighter than the 6 cyl. So if anyone is using the Tein S-Tech's on thier 99-01 4 cyl. please let me know so I will be sure I am ordering the right springs. Also, they do have an application for the 04-06 2.4 liter 4 cyl. so I am not sure if they would fit and if I should be using them instead of the 99-01 6 cyl's. I just want to get a level drop all the way around and eliminate the larger gap in the front. Thanks a lot for your help.
If no one has used the Tein S-Tech (part #SKL16-AUB00) on a 99-01 4 cyl. Camry/Solara can someone who is using Eibach Pro Kit springs on a 4 cyl. let me know how even the drop is. Also if anyone has any photos of the Eibach Pro Kit on this applcation that would be a big help too! I am trying to find out how noticable the gaps would be if I either bought the Tein S-Tech's (6 cyl. Application) or went with the Eibach's. It also seems strange to me that the Eibach Pro Kit (part #8258.140) lists the application for 1999-2003 4cyl. & 6 cyl. but the Tein S-Tech's (part #SKL16-AUB00) only list the 6 cyl. Any info would really help me out!! I just want to get as level a drop as possible to compensate for the larger stock gap in the front over the rear. Any photos of the Tein's or Eibach's on the 4 cyl. (99-03) would be great. Thanks a lot guys.
Thanks a lot for the info! I can't seem to find that Tein part# (SKL20-AUB00) on e-bay though. How did you pull it up? Also, how do you like the Teins on your Camry? Is the ride height fairly even, what struts are you using? Thanks again for your help! I really appreciate it!
Thanks for the photos. That helps a lot. From the pics your car looks very level, do you notice a larger gap in the front at all? I am also going with the KYB GR-2 struts. How do you like the springs and struts? You Camry is a 4 cyl. right? I have 17" Exel rims with Hankook tires. The stance you have seems like what I am looking for. Thanks again for all your help!

I just searched "camry tein" and looked in the ebay store section. I had the teins paired with Tokico blues and i liked the ride a lot. It cornered really well. The height is pretty even. IIRC it lowers like 1.6 front and .6 rear. here some pics:
Arisotezza18 thanks for the photo and info. I found some sites with the Tein part #SKL20-AUB00's but their applications show for the 97-01 Camry 4 cyl. 4 door. I am not sure if there is diference with the platform I have on my 2000 4 cyl. Solara 2 door. I just sent Tein an e-mail, maybe they can shead some light on which part # is for the 4 cyl. Solara. But the ride height looks really similar between the Tein's and the Eibach's, so I feel pretty comfortable going with either of them. Thanks for all of your info this helps me out a lot!

Yeah, 2000 Camry 4 cyl. The stance is pretty even, although the front is a little higher than the rear if you look very closely. I actually want a stiffer ride, so you may want to go with Teins. Either that, or get stiffer struts like Tokico Blues. From what I've heard, Eibachs give you a somewhat even drop whereas the Teins give you a raked look. I was just talking to Arisotezza and he said that his drop is pretty even, despite the drop differences in the front and rear.
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I could use some help...
A few months back I replaced my stock springs and struts with Eibach springs & Tokico HP struts.
When I got my car the front ride height looks normal, but the rear appeared significantly lower than the front by 1-2 inches? (Top of rear tires is almost inside the rear tire well).
Can anyone tell me what might be the cause and if there's anything that I can do about it?
(Aside from the spring, strut, tire and rims, the car is a stock 99 LE V4)
