'99 Camry does NOT Decelerate..
My 1999 automatic camry (4 cyl, 2.2L) doesn't decelerate after I have reached any peak speed. It says at that speed. I could go from 0 - 50km/h and it will stay stuck at 50 until I brake.

Does this have anything to do with cruise control? What could the problem be?

sounds like the throttle is getting stuck open. when it happens does the pedal return(spring back) when u take your foot off the pedal?

check all connections into the cruise control actuator unit and into the throttlebody- something is getting stuck

Sounds exactly like cruise control behavior. Try using the cruise control on purpose.
