3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I've recently been plagued with broken window regulators, Drivers on the 96, passenger on the 94.
2 down, 2 to go! (i have coupes)
I ordered the other two window regulators (pass for the 96/drivers for the 94) from autoandart.com on Ebay. Super fast shipping, and half price of what paid for the first two.
Haven't needed to install them YET! But I have no fear of opening the windows!

^ wow, almost same story, although I don't remember the seller, it's probably the same guy.
The Ebay part is Chinese made, but it is NEW. Buying a 12-15 year old part from a junkyard is always risky. I chose Ebay part 3 years ago, and it has been perfect (but only time will tell if it will last 12 years like the OEM one did).

I'm the biggest boss thatchu seen thus far! Baby, that's muh wi'zzard!
I have the same problem recently, exept mine are the rearwindows. Both of them aren't working now, the right stopped working a couple years ago, and today the left rear wouldn't go up and is stuck so it is currently covered with a plasic bag.
I think a 12 socket wrench, philips screwdriver and regular screwdriver is all you need. I just did two today on my 92 Camry. Got mine off of eBay as well.
Only problem is I think I have a problem with my master switch. Passenger side works fine, drivers side only goes down.
If your window is stuck, screw the plastic bag thing, just take the skin off, unscrew the window from the regulator (two screws) and wedge the glass in the up position till you can get your parts.
Good luck, I know I'm gonna need it on the master switch problem!
