'93 lock issues, remote start questions

My '93 Camry has issues with the locks. The drivers side key does not work but the passenger side key works. I think the previous owner changed the lock on the drivers side and the key does not match anymore.

Anyway, my question is: Can I use a remote start to unlock the doors, this way I won't have to fuzz around with the locks. ??

My wifes 94 Camry had the same problem.
Originally one key worked for doors, trunk & ignition.
The key started getting stuck in the ignition. Had to really work it to get it out.
Then the key quit working in the drivers side door.

I had new keys made from the dealer using my VIN#. Didn't fix it.

I had the ignition switch replaced and got new keys for it. Then instead of replacing the drivers side lock I had an aftermarket keyless entry/remote start installed.

Circuit City had it for $199 installed.
