Interior side pocket lighting

i want to install some leds on the side pockets of the car, took off the compartments near the foot and found a whole bunch of wires. also, i took off the switch where u close the door and onli found 1 wire. Ne ideas on how to install them?

you want them on when you open the door or you want them on a switch, if you want them on with the door opening youll have to find the wire that runs to the dome light and is hot when the door opens and use it. otherwise put it on a switch.

ye i want it wen the door opens, but i cant find the wires that runs to the dome light, below where my feet is, there was a carpartment i took apart, and there was many wires there and dunno which one it is. the problem is i cant find the power source.

the easiest way would be if someone could tell (i cant) which wire it is, but i would check the wries running up the post between the doors, honestly i dont know the setup with the dome lights but other then that light you would have to find something that comes on when the door opens to tap into.
