Cig/Radio fuse powers the lighter. Is the lighter getting power and not working?

I know I found out the hard way that there is a fuse somewhere in the dash that links the radio, clock and cig lighter together so if it's blown none of those will work. However, you say only the cig lighter isn't working so that sounds like either you didn't re-wire properly when you took out the ipod dock or your cig lighter stopped working for whatever reason.

In the future though, what I did to wire in my ipod dock on my Gen3 was I got an aftermarket cig lighter from autozone and just pressed the clips on the wires into the stock cig lighter harness and then I wrapped it in electrical tape so it wouldn't slip out. This kept me from having to cut any wires and it seems to work really well, they're in there really tight so I doubt they will ever come loose.
