I just wanted to ask if anyone has any aftermarket Exhaust/headers advice. I have a I4 97 Camry, i found the Greddy evo 2 which looks good, i wanted to know if this would fit an I4 plus i look on ebay (probably not the best place) for some headers the only ones i came across were these OBX ones but i heard these suck any advice would much be appreciated.
the evo2's are cool.. headers wise- there's someone here locally that recently had them on and he said there's minimal gain meaning its butt-dyno .. another plus is that it didn't throw a cel.
Welcome to TN! In terms of exhaust, the Greddy Evo 2 is nice but I heard they are discontinued, not 100% sure though. You can also get the TRD sport muffler which is not discontinued yet. For the headers I don't think there's any good one for a 4 cylinder Camry.
The Greddy Evo2 is a perfect exhaust. But if you want something more affordable then go with a dc sports universal muffler. They sound great and if you want it to be quite then dc sports has a silencer for you. Also I heard apexi makes a catback exhaust for the 97-01 4cyl. camry, thats expensive though.
Thanks for the info,
i dont have the tools or the time for a universal exhaust alothough that would be better,
one question,
what kind of sound difference do you get with the OBX headers?
pretty big differance. sounds pretty good. it will make it louder and moe raspy, but unless you plan on doing the full exhaust dont bother, you wont get the benifits. ill also bet money the the OBX ones dont fit well, as most OBX stuff does.
thanks for the advice,
im from Chantilly Va. so the OBX headers arent as good, so i should just leave it witht the stock headers and just bolt on the Evo 2
Was looking at the OBX exhaust it looks like it fits well as I guy on solaraguy is selling one since he is using a TRD muffler with custom piping now. He has pics of the fitment it ilooks good.

Can you post the link to this exhaust? Also, will the exhausts like Greddy, made for the V6, fit on the V4? are the exhausts the same between the two cars the way they fit and bolt up and hang? Thanks. If you have any other links to available exhausts please post them, I am trying to find an exhaust for my car. I have not checked about the TRD one from Toyota, probably very expensive....
OBX is basically sold on ebay. and yes, the V6 and I4 exhaust is the same from the cat back. the trd is discontinued and is more expensive then i think its worth. id just get a muffler and call it a day.

Ok, I am looking at mufflers now, and there are many different sizes. If I am not changing the factory piping, what size inlet and outlet do I need to look at getting? There are lots of universal mufflers, just need to know what size I should be buying. Thanks.
