3rd Generation '95 Camry Main Power Fuse Blown - Power Windows

So, I've been deperately trying to figure out why my Main Power Fuse keeps blowing out everytime I turn on the ignition. This is why I'm here. I hope you guys can help.

I pulled the Power Window Relay and that stopped the fuse from blowing, so I have my power door locks back.

I've pulled the master switch and the other door switches and checked continuity on each switch - everything seems ok.

After I pulled each switch, I put power directly to the window motors and they went up and down without a problem.

I then sent power from the car battery through the main control switch connector and three out of four windows went up and down (the right rear window did not).

However, I checked continuity from the main swith connector to the right rear door window, and I have continuity. I'm completely perplexed (or maybe not).

I think that the insulation on one of the wires going to the right rear window became worn down and it is shorting out on the chassis. This would explain a short and having continuity.

But, then why am I not getting the window to go up and down when sending power through the harness?

And, why does the main power fuse blow when I turn on the ignition, ince there shouldn't be a load without depressing the main or door switch?

If anyone has some knowledge to share, I would greatly appreciate it.

No one else has responded so I am afraid that you get my random thoughts. My recollection is that you have both hot and ground wires coming in to the master switch through the door. Check a schematic and verify (or get in with a multi meter). If that is the case, have you checked the hot wires for a short to ground? While your right rear window problem is obvious, I can't see where it would blow a fuse when you just turned on the car (if the window switch wasn't actuated).

Next (I don't know this), when you actuate the master switch are you closing a ground or a hot wire? If it is a ground that might explain your initial contenuity check (a ground shorted to ground...).

I suspect that you have more than one problem. I would tend to focus on the blowing fuse first.
