Well I see your other cars in your sig and those are easy 12sec cars.
Compared to your Camaro...Camry will feel like a slug.

damn I was going to post up that I know my other cars are alittle fast but.. riding in my friends civic with 2 people or my acura CL or mercury sable from last year they both where faster then this by way far

I can punch it at 80 and it barely moves hell it shifts into 2nd at around 4k rpms because i gotta put so much foot in it if I take my foot off at 2-3k it shifts fine but its slow as hell.. my friend had 97 a few years ago and when I drove it, it wasn't a hog like this thing is

If still in doubt.
Check the timing marks.
Maybe some how the last person who replaced the T-belt installed it a tooth off.
^^ I'd check this first then set my ignition timing.

Basically right.
Line up the marks on the crank pulley to 0.
Pop the upper T-belt cover off.
Cam gear is a 5 spoke.
One of the spokes has a hole in it (12 o'clock position) to see if it lines up with the mark on the head. Actually it's in the cam cap.
