just go to the dealership and give them your vin and registration and they will make you a key.

If your car has the original locks,
you can have the dealer make a new set
give them jour VIN number and
you should have to have proof that you own the car
like title and drivers licence.

note your VIN(Vehical Identification Number) is probably on the title

Yep. Ditto what they said. I just got a new key for mine at the dealer not too long ago.

If for some reason you didn't have the original locks, a good locksmith should be able to make you one. That's not cheap though. My dad lost his key once and was away from home. He called a locksmith. The guy showed up and made him a new key on the spot.

I just removed my 93 Camry passenger side door panel, but I forgot to take picture... But here are the instructions from the Toyota Repair Manual.

Removing the handle bezel is quite hard... Be patient and study how it is attached to the door.

Wow nice responses. I didn't need a key made. But I did need the manual on how to take the door apart. Thanks all.

4th Generation

Somewhat off-topic but I've been searching online(torrent sites and data houses) for a 2001 official service manual, anyone had any luck on locating such a file?

Thanks goog1986, that helped me a lot. I was trying to install front speakers so I had to remove the door panel.

Here are some things I wish I knew before I started (sorry for the huge pics)

The side pin/clip looks like this normally

When you want to take it out, depress the middle piece, like this

Then, when you want to put it in again, pull out the middle piece slightly, like this

The bezel that goes around the door handle is tough to get off, and I forgot to take a picture of it once I got it out. My suggestion would be to free the bottom part first, then the top, then slide rearwards. To free the bottom part, I pulled the handle back and stuck a flat-head screwdriver downwards (in that small gap between the handle base and the bezel). Everything else I think was simple, the bottom clips just pop out when you pull.

Thanks to you guys, it's awesome to have a forum with such great info!
