3rd Generation Idle problem??

Ok so im sitting at a light tonight and notice that while im on the break my car seams to chug a lil hardly noticable but its there and it got annoying so i put the car in Neutral and took foot off break and it went away... also when i sit at lights my car likes to jump foward here and there just a little bit and have to end up deprressing the break even more. anyone have any ideas? ive done a lil reasearch but none real close to my question

I got the same thing with my 4cyl 5spd. At a light I use my handbrake and sit there instead of holding the brake. From what my mechanics have told me, an EGR cleaning might solve the problem, but first I am going to find a bottle of SeaFoam and clean my throttle body and put a bottle of Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner.

I'lll let u know how much this helps

A 95 Camry likely has enough miles on it to warrant going in and doing basic cleaning. I would propose the throttle body, EGR, EGR Modulator, the vacuum lines between the two, and the IAC valve (on the 4 cyl you can remove it once the TB is off). Just for grins and giggles do the PCV valve too. If that doesn't rectify the problem more trouble shooting will be necessary.

Please let us know of your progress!
