what would you do in my situation? be good or bad?
i needed new rear brake rotors on both sides so i order some online. all is well when they arrived a few days ago but today another box showed up today with two more rotors ! i check my bank statement online and it only shows that the amount for two rotors were charged and nothing more.
so should i keep them and be sneaky or contact the website and tell them what happened?
would these "free" rotors fit in the front or is that something that shouldn't be tried?
or i could always keep them untill the rears need to be replaced.

my friend ordered a turbo for his Tercel (forget what kind of turbo) and the company sent him two on accident too. He ended up selling the other for $500 (price of them new). Just keep 'em and sell them off or something
I'd contact the web site, let them know u recieved two sets.
If they find their own mistake they'll just charge ur credit card for them.
If ur honest, they may just turn u on to them, rather than pay for the return shipping.
It wouldn't be cool to have the bad karma..expecially on BRAKES!!

"check my bank statement online and it only shows that the amount for two rotors were charged and nothing more."
Did they sell them as a set and bought two sets (4 disks) or they were sold individually (RP, RD).
I would tell the company but would not pay for the shipment. I counts on the company's policy, some will tell you to keep them, all sales are final/nonreturnable or want it shipped back (payers or customers expense)
I bought new leather covers for my 96, and they didn't charge me for the two tone! (Just an extra 30 bucks)....I didn't say nothing...6 months later a charge showed on my credit card for 30 bucks........I guess the Accountant busted my ass!!...I just paid them!

if they sent you two orders they legaly cant charge you. whos to say you even recieved them. id be afraid that if i told them they would try to charge me till i sent them back but most likely they would just pay to have them shipped back and possible even give ya credit twards somthing...in a perfect world. chances are if ya do tell them they wont even care and write it off as a loss, its a big campany and they are not gonna miss a set of rotors when inventory time comes.
i wouldnt feel wrong for keeping them but, i work for a big company and i like to know when an error has occured because it allows me to track mistakes and find holes in the buisness. choice is yours.
Contact the website... You never know when the cosmos will decide it's time to rebalance the Karmic scale, and give you a healthy heaping of payback.
If you're not into Karma, and you're a Christian - just ask yourself, "What would Jesus Do?"
If you don't have any religious belief, ask yourself what you would want someone to do if you ran a company and one of your employees made this same mistake.
^^^^....but the have his credit card #....they can do what they want with it now!....whats he going to do sue em???...he could deal with the CC company and then lie and say he didn't recieve the 2nd set...of course thats not true!

^ From what I've heard (I may be wrong, so feel free to correct me) a company can not legally charge you for anything that you did not order. Since he only ordered 1 set, and I'm sure he has the records to prove it, they are only legally allowed to charge him for one set.
