4th Generation Plugged in bad D/C adapter - Clock and Cig Lighter died

So my car charger for my cell phone doesnt work. I plugged it into the accessory DC port on my 97' camry LE 4cyc Auto, and nothing happened.

Tried the Cig lighter next, and it instantly didnt work, and killed the digital clock as well.

Any ideas?

I threw out the car charger

Which one and where? I have the Haynes manual and it doesn't really touch the fuses at all

The fuse is in the box under the hood, I believe it's a 7.5 volt fuse (brownish color). You could check your cars maintenance manual if you have it.

The regular manual
I believe the fuse for the cigarette lighter is in the little cupboard under the steering wheel, but i'm not sure about it
Again, the back cover of the fuse box(es) will show the location.

Is it just your cigarette lighter and clock? Does the dome light work? If the dome light works then forget what I said.
