Handkercheif or any thin cloth.
Slide it in between the crank handle and the door panel.
Now slide the cloth side to side while pulling up.
The crank handle is held in by a clip so you might try diff. positions on the crank handle.
Keep trying and you'll eventually catch it and it will come off.

Good luck
Nad.

The handle that I had was fit over a knurled knob sticking out of the door panel. The plastic that fits over the knob had a spring clip holding it on the knob. I would press in the door panel and hook a pick under the clip and pull it out. Another method was to get a length of string or strip of cloth and squeeze it in between the rim of the handle and the door panel. Wrap it half way around and see-saw it back and forth and it should pop the clip out of its groove. You may need to rotate the ends around the post until you get the right spot to force the clip out.

Once you get the handle off you will need to remove the panel to get access to the regulator. With any luck you will see why it isn't working properly.
