3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
in some peoples pictures of their cars, they have a bar that goes from one side of the car to the other under the hood, attaching to the brake things that are on each side. anybody help me out here? lol oh yeah and what the hell is Gen3.5?
If you're talking about a bar on top of the engine below the hood tied to the suspension, then its a tower strut bar, which is used to improve the stiffness of the chasis and thus handling.
Gen 3.5 are actually the 95-96 model years in North America

As prince said the Gen 3.5 is only 95 and 96. Gen 3 is 92-94.
The STB does a little bit for body roll, but on it's own the difference is minimal. Combine it with suspension mods though and it'll be nice . Combine it with suspension mods and rims and tires for optimal improvements .
