3rd Generation interior roof light

alrite, i took apart the roof light and the wiring is 1 thick red wire and a green wire with a red stripe. i took off the kick panel and found a bunch of em, want to tap the wires so my neon wud turn on. is there any way of takin off the side panels where the seatbelts are? so i can tap it from there

Easy, they only have a few plastic clips behind the pillar covers,Yank and your done.Probably easier if you remove the trim near the scuff panels first as the pillar covers are clipped under them as well,but not neccisary can be done without.

lol. what do i pull out first, the panel under the seatbelt panel, is that the scuff panel and also.. i dont want to break it.. but i think the panel is one whole thing.. so at the moment still, i dun know how to get it off.

The scuff panel is the part that runs along the lower frame of the door cavity.
Pull that of first (Front and rear).
Then the pillar panel, this is the part that covers the pillar between the two doors (front and rear) and obviously the seatbelt that runs under it as well.
Pull that of to gain access
