Question about 97 XLE remote

So I took this picture from eBay as I don't wanna take mine.. waste of time.. and NO i'm not buying another remote...



so the quesiton is.. the remote has 2 buttons as shown. I'm currently using the big button on top to unlock and lock and even hold it down to sound the alarm. But what purpose WAS the 2nd button? trunk opener?

I found this older thread that may help you. If it doesn't, email the eBay seller and ask him to look in the instruction manual to see if it mentions what all the buttons do or can do.

If you have another Toyota vehicle with keyless entry/alarm, you can program the 2nd button to work with it.

It will work with any Toyota equipped with the VIP RS3000 system I believe.
