3rd Generation camry short shifter

My bro let me drive his 00' civic si earlier and it had a short shifter on it, first time feeling one of those things and liked it. Do they make a short shift for a gen 3 camry? I need one!

TRD made a shortshifter for gen 4, my understanding was that a gen4 shifter mount made it work for gen 3. do a search, I know it is possible. there may be other options too.

Harder as in because it's made for a gen 4 and going into a gen 3 or is it the way a short shifter acts and is just Harder to shift?

what bird means is that it's harder to shift, because you lose the leverage of the stock shifter. but unless you also have all the solid bushings as well, it'll be okay...with the bushings though, you'll want a weight knob for sure...

and there is no short shifter made for the gen3, but apparently the gen5 celica ones from TWM fit on the gen3 shifter, but it's REALLY REALLY Short...as in there's basically no shaft and it will just be a knob sitting on a shift boot- ratko was the one who did this and found out, years ago

as for the gen4 shifters- there is the discontinued trd shifter and the twm shifter. and yes, the gen4 shifter base fits a gen3 with a bit of modifications and that will allow you to get a twm camry short shifter for your car- that's actually what I'm using right now.
