Periodical roaring noise; 92 Camry V6
Odd noise. I thought it might be the hydraulic cooling fan flipping out, but Im not sure.
It happens randomly, not too often, but I drive the car, and a roar, as if I had a conventional belt driven fan, kick on at speed, hence that roar.
It lasts from 2 to 3 sec. Then it dont happen for who knows when.
Now, another thing is, Im not sure if it's normal yet, but the hydraulic fan will kick on, but sounds like as: if it ran on a belt driven clutch and the clutch was going out. It would rev up to speed for cooling, but then hesitate and slow down, then speed up, randomly many times, or just a few.
The engine does not overheat.
Any ideas folks?
