3rd Generation Gen 3 Coolant Bottle Made of Titanium?

A few years ago, my next door neighbor's 95 Camry had a crack or two in the bracket end of her coolant recovery bottle. Called the Dealer and they wanted$126 for that silly piece of plastic!!! Duct taped the end as best I could and so far it's held up. Now I go to autohausaz.com(normally a huge discount parts place for most all cars) and they have the list price around $130 and their price is $96. What is so special about this coolant bottle that 50 cents worth of plastic turns into $100? HOpefully the junkyard folks aren't wise to this yet.

Toyota must also be proud of their iginiton igniter as it's over $400 at az

Out of rant mode

NO

IIRC it is PE.

Items that are rarely replaced are more expensive and not in stock.

Please see threads: 1996 Camry Coolant Overflow Tank
Better to stick with Toyota because I have a Ebay one that do not seal well.
The 92-94 I4 tank will fit 95-96 I4, and are they same but comes different hoses.
Don't know about V6.
