Question Help, carrier bearing on half shaft won't budge

The carrier bearing (recessed in rear motor mount) on the right half shaft won't budge on our 95 Camry. We have removed the snap ring, and using a slide hamer, pulled the old half shaft in two. Then drilled through the remaining steel cup, passed a bolt through to re-attach the hammer. It won't budge. All ideas are appreciated..............thanks.

keep soaking it down with penetrant (pbblaster) and keep on hammering....and praying...with a sledge hammer...

it's one of the worst designs that toyota came up with.

otherwise...your options are very limited. the sure way of getting the half-shaft out is by parting the tranny and the engine lol

good luck

Sheesh, did you even read the replies in your previous post on this problem?

Remove the rear mount with axles attached...
