I bought this system http://www.amazon.com/Bulldog-KE1702.../dp/B000CS9Q6E that has a quiet clear diagram, however, when i opened the site kick panel, it seems to be more complicated than i thought to identify the right plug to hock up ...
I've seen some threads around about this , but none of them really give out any proper instructions. Perhap i hope some experts mind want to share experiences of installing with us, that would be so great.
No pic's, but from the crappy notes I took when installing the IC Dynamics remote I bought from Whitney, blue connector IH2 is the connector you want. It's behind the driver's kick panel. Pin 10, light green (with an orange stripe? I don't remember, but it's definitely 10) is lock, so that's spliced to the yellow door lock wire on the remote harness. Pin 13, dark green, is spliced to the green door unlock wire on the remote harness. Your remote harness may have different color wiring.
The connector is shown on pages 42 and 43 in the wiring diagram, the schematic is shown on page 161.
Not sure if you have already done this, although the wires you need to tap into are:
Central Locking :
Light Green / Red - negative unlock
Blue / White - negative lock
To test these, just grab a test light and poke into the two coloured wires above. If you have the right wires, it will lock and unlock the doors.
The wires should be on the blue connector.
Then you can get the indicator wires at the ignition loom (Green/Black and Green/Yellow) and then earth.
I said in my original post that its the blue connector. In all those wires, there should only be one wire that is light green / red and blue / white. These are the two wires you need.
Do you have a scan or picture of the wiring diagram you for with your keyless entry kit?
Is the kit you purchased a negative switching one?
12v power I got from behind the fuse box, its a White / green wire.
But first of all, make sure your keyless entry kit is negative switching.
it show u the wire and wah it does.
when i did my remote starter, last week on my 97, the only thing you need fore keyless entry is the constant 12v, which is attach to the ignition harness, and attach that to the brain, and the two unlock / lock wire, which is near kick panel, but it seem like on 93 it in the front near the fuse box (driver side)
