L gear light doesn't show

The corresponding light shows up in the dash for every gear P R N D 2 but not L. Should I be worried about anything?

it's just a light. no worries. my D light is burned out.

It is one of the easiest thing to change. If you like taking things apart. They are small lights that are easy to take out. You have to take the front dash out like if you were installing a sound system, but you must go further!! Its common sense when taking the screws off and taking only what you need off. But when you get to your final destination (the back of the tachometer) you can change the lights fairly well. I will get pictures up later if you want me too.

I want to replace the D light with a blue LED but haven't gotten around to it. I'd need to figure the right
dropping resistor anyway, and package it to be a drop-in replacement for the bulb.

It's odd for the L lamp to go. It's the D lamp that gets used the most. I've burned out two of those.

All I know is the last owner has the transmission replaced, that says something about the burnt L ...

Haha, well at least your D light is ok. It's funny because for a while I thought that the D light wasn't supposed to light up in the first place, but it's a pretty common problem.
