4th Generation Autozone or Dealership

I need to buy new spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter and a PCV value. Should I go with bosch and az filters brand products at autozone or pay like 100 dollars extra and get dealership parts?

3rd Generation

As for spark plugs, do not get bosch. If you can, get denso brand, as they are oem replacements for Toyotas. I've had decent luck with duralast plug wires, better quality than the bosch ones. The pcv and fuel filter from AZ will be fine. If you can't get densos from your local AZ, you might be able to get them from advance or oreillys, depending on where you live. Otherwise, get your spark plugs from the dealership.

Check www.toyotapartsales.com , they'll knock that "$100 extra" down quite a bit.

I have to agree with renmike. Use only Denso or NGK plugs. That's what these cars came with form the factory. If you have the owner's manual, check it for the recommended Denso or NGK plugs. Several people on this forum have reported problems using Bosch plugs in their Toyotas.
