3rd Generation I need a door ASAP

Ok, in the picture below is what my dad did with his mercedes, and its coming time to when someones gonna get the dent out and repaint it... its gonna cost minimum $600, just for the driver door, and to me that sounds like alot.

So i was thinking, if i can find the drive door from a gen 3 camry off another car, like a parts car, or sold seperatly, and that way maybe save 300$, just use the door panel and electonics from the old door, and hopefully the door should line up perfectly... what do you guys think? and does anyone know of a place i could look for a replacement door? plus i'm looking for the taope or whatever its called color thats in good shape... thanks alot, i'd appreciate it.

I don't live in your area but check out junkyards. Use car-parts.com to locate them.

I have a dent like that on my driver side, but much worst and its been on there for over a year now. I got the car this way and I'm too broke it get it fixed. I BEEN looking for a door ever since but no luck. I'll probably end up buying a door skin from the dealership, cost around $250-300 then have a shop put it in, and paint it. Should be cheaper than actually repairing it.

I was also quoted minimum of $600.
Good luck.

I had mine's left rear door replaced for $2400 (hurried woman + F150 = huge flippin dent). Almost had the car filed totalled since I bought it for $3700.

I highly advise against getting a dent fixed only because it's not worth the cost. Check the local junkyards for doors. I must warn that the colors won't match 100% exactly, but you can get as close as 90%. I had my rear passenger side door replaced about a month back. I got mine at a local Pick 'n' Pull for $30 and had my mechanic install it for $40. Now the car looks better than ever.

hmm well i got it fixed for 250$ from a friendly hispanic man, refered by a friend, only problem was he didnt tell me whether to have the son or the dad do it, so i had the dad do it, kinda a mistake, because his definition of perfection is, "no dent" well, a slight ding instead has been left in its place, oh well, and he got a slightly darker silver color compared to what it comes with from factory, but i'ma get an abrasive and light abrasive clay bar and do some polishing tricks i got up my sleeve...

i hope the pigmenty paint that dried is the clearcoat cuz i hope to bring some of that down and make it flat as if i'm looking into a mirror... sooo wish me luck... but it took him 2-3 hours compared to 4 days at a body shop, no rental car, and cost between 600-1200 bucks...
