I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the wheels repair shop known as Ye Olde Wheel Shop in Baltimore. I was wondering cause Yesturday during my drive home I hit a bump and the valve gasket busted thus I had lower then normal air pressure in there and continuously was hitting bumps from Baltimores HORRIBLE ROADS and bent the rim. (gasket was destoryed when the tire store putted the tire then the stem off) The valve stem is a part of the wheels,as it comes with the wheels when you buy it. (aluminum tube made for the wheel) I contacted tirerack.com where i got the wheels and told them about it, and they're looking into the warrenty right now, but because of the bent part its looking like my fault even cause it is bent under the stem, though I baby these wheels some much I was causeing traffic issues (doing 5mph in 30-35mph areas). So to get started I have a wheel being reserved at tirerack while I waiting for the warrenty. I was going to put on the new wheel form there and get the other one repaired with my OEMs(for the winter) at Ye Olde Wheel Shop. I've heard of many great things from them, also heard of some bad ones too. I also know there expensive, but from the life time that they have been around and the work they do I hear it worth it. I just wanted to know if anyone had used them, and what there experience with them was.
Thanks guys!

It wasnt the pot holes though it was a faulty gasket on my valve stem, causeing me to have 10psi in the tire then the bumps did me in. Its not that bad of a bent, its more of a flattening. Also because I replaced the gasket, the manufacturers warrenty doesnt apply..... So tomorrow I have taken a day off to one mow the lawns I need to and two go to Ye Olde Wheel Shop for an guestimate.
PLEASE GUYS YOU CAN'T TELL ME NO ONE HAS WORKED WITH THEM!

Well the new wheel is on the way. Apparently the wheel is aluminum with a stainless steel cover on top, and there is no guarentee that they will look original when I get them back. He did say the bent will come out and it would be a circle again, but the look is the part he can't guarentee. He said that its a 50 50 chance that the wheels will come out fine, or there will be steel stretch marks. Was able to see some finish products though while I was there, and I was pleased in what I saw. So if you dont have stainless steel covers on the rims and you have a bent, chiped, or messed up wheel Ye Olde Wheel Shop in Elkridge MD is the place to go!
