Has anyone ever SEEN or DONE a swap on the 5sfe Cylinder Head?

I heard you can bolt the 3sgte Head on there...all you need is longer bolts...I'm going to do it and I'll tell you guys how it goes. Although 5sfe is a DOHC it only has one gear LOL. Should bolt right up.

if your doing a 5sgte people have already done it look on mr2 board and the celica board. i want one of those so bad..gl though

You don't just need longer bolts, on most of the 3sge heads you will need to machine out the cooling passages on the head to work on the 5sfe.

And this is far from a 30 horsepower mod, more like a 10-15... The 5s is just a shitty platform to build off of.

megamac83 attepted this in the past. he ran into teh problem lucky pointed out that the head doesnt match up and would not be worth the money in the long run. and 30hp...i think not.
