Any exterior differences between a '93 and a '95?

I have a '95 LE sedan. A movie company is looking for '93 or earlier cars as extras for some movie scenes to be shot in Springfield, Illinois (some Matt Damon movie).

Before I clean it up and send in a photo, could my '95 LE pass for a '93? It's the midnight blue color.

Dang. Oh well. Last fall I sold a '93 Volvo station wagon that was in good shape, I'm sure that would have made the cut.

The scene is at a country club, they are looking for cars for the parking lot.

I wonder why they are being so specific about the year and model.

Preview from movie.

Actress: You are a handsome young man, you appear to be rich, and you must drive a fancy car.

Matt Damon: I am handsome, I am rich, but I drive a 93 Camry - I like to think of myself as sensible. I am considering stepping up to a 95 midnight blue Camry, but that will have to wait.

Heat: Excuse me sir, I happen to have a 1995 midnight blue Camry.

Matt Damon: I'll buy it (the scene closes with Matt Damon driving off into the sunset listening to Desperado)

Post flashes back to reality - I would submit it, all they can say is no.

Perhaps they are just trying to make it look like it was shot in the early 90s?

Had I read more carefully I would have realized that. I thought they were a 93 Camry. I didn't realize it was 93 cars or earlier.

I get it now, but maybe I will go into writing scripts.

You would have to change the headlights, corner lights, grille, front bumper cover/turn signals, trunk center panel, and tail lights to make your gen3.5 look like a gen3.

Yeah...they don't want movie geeks to point out on Yahoo Movies that a gen 3.5 was ina movie set in 92 or something. Imagine a real life comicbook guy from the Simpsons taking notes.

Well, considering the line Damon has to deliver...

Matt Damon: I am handsome, I am rich, but I drive a 93 Camry - I like to think of myself as sensible. I am considering stepping up to a 95 midnight blue Camry, but that will have to wait.

It must be set in at least 94. Eh...whatever.

good point, sort of like the vapor trail of a jet in the sky of a Clint Eastwood western set in Oklahoma.

Will the 93 headlights and grille swap out on a 95 without doing the bumper cover?

Thanks

If you trim the bumper cover, yes.
