Leaking..?

Anyone who has their A/c on notices the puddle of water beneath their cars. I was just wondering if this is common when the a/c is not on. I've noticed there is a lot of water or coolant or w/e it is under my car even when I have not touched the climate control. Is this common to see or am I just a nub who should stop wasting bandwidth?

what you do is smell or taste a little bit of the (should be water) and then ask from there...cause if it is a oil or something exotic then you may have a problem, but my car puddles after the compress is on and is normal.

well..it's clear and cool. So I know it's not oil or anything. I was guessing water. My defroster wasn't on, along with any other climate options. The switch that has two options(allowing air to come directly from the outside and/or directing the air to flow and circulate within the car) is currently on the left side which is the air being circulated and recycled throughout the car.

I think it's the condensation being routed out of the compressor or something. There's a little rubber hose somewhere under the front passenger side of the car. My carpet under the passenger seat was SOAKING wet for no apparent reason on my old car, and I think it was because this little tube was pushed back in the car somehow.

the same exact thing happened to me, except it was soaking, but every 2 mins or so it would drop a dropa water on my feet...quite annoying !
